Dave's Mobility offer a mobility scooter and powered wheelchair repair service with the following benefits:

Call-Out Service

Scooter won't start at home? Got a puncture whilst driving through the park? Accidentally clipped a wall and need to be sure your scooter is safe to use? No need to bring it to our Our Workshop. We will come to see you and try to fix it on-site. Remember the Name and Number!

Low Call-Out Charge

If you live within a 20 mile radius, we'll only charge you £20 to come and have a look. That includes the Fylde Coast, Over Wyre, Garstang, Lancaster and most of Preston. We'd like it to be free, but sadly current petrol prices are not on our side!

If you live further afield, it's only £40 for Southport, Blackburn, Morecambe, Chorley, etc. And we're happy to travel further if you're struggling to find someone in your area, but again due to current fuel prices, we'll have to charge appropriately. Please ask when you call.

Alternatively, if you have transport, you're welcome to bring it to Our Workshop for us to have a look at it.

Repairs On-Site

To get you mobile again as quickly as possible, we aim to fix most problems on-site. If we can't, we will collect your scooter, take it to our workshop for repairs and then return it to your home.

Honest Pricing

We understand that money is tight and offer very reasonable pricing. We will assess the scooter and always discuss it with you before proceeding. We will not do any work without talking to you first.

No Job Too Small

We understand that your scooter means freedom to travel and how important that is. Whether it's a puncture repair, a new controller or even just a replacement headlamp, we will go out of our way to get you mobile again.

Friendly and Personal Approach

We genuinely believe in a satisfied customer and good old-fashioned personal service. We're definitely NOT a face in a suit and we want you to pass on our name and number to friends and family, not have to tell them a horror story!

Dave was bought up in an age of "make do and mend". If it is possible to fix it we will. Only where it is truly not economically viable for repair would we suggest you replace it.

Our services include:

  • Punctures - We can repair a puncture, replace worn tyres or change you over to solid tyres.
  • Batteries - Flat batteries re-charged or replaced and charging units fixed.
  • Controllers - We may be able to repair them, rather than the considerable expense of replacement.
  • Bodywork - Accidental damage to bodywork can be repaired, sharp edges removed and panels rebuilt or replaced.
  • Upholstery - We can repair tears, re-cover, replace cushioning and add lumbar support for your comfort.
  • Insurance - All insurance work can be undertaken.
  • And Much More... - Call Dave and tell us what the problem is.

We also offer Servicing for mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs.

From Our Workshop based in Thornton Cleveleys, Dave's Mobility are well placed to serve the Fylde Coast and Over Wyre including: Fleetwood, Thornton Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde, Blackpool, Lytham, Kirkham, Warton, Bispham, St Annes, Knott End, Carleton, Pilling, Preesall, Hambleton and Wesham.

Surrounding areas such as Preston, Garstang and Lancaster are also within easy reach. In fact, we will happily travel as far as Morecambe, Blackburn, Southport, Chorley and beyond, but please note that call-out charges will apply.
